A Little About Justice

The Professional

My name is Justice Payne-Tyson and I am The Neighbor “Hood” Therapist™ and the clinical director at All Us We Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I am currently licensed in the states of Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey.  I am certified in Brainspotting (BSP), and Anger Resolution (CART). My career in Mental Health began as the first Black Deputy Director of the Kleberg-Kenedy Juvenile Probation Department while working part-time as a therapist for multiple organizations. Since leaving the judicial side of things and focusing on mental health, I have become an expert in helping Black Men heal and bringing couples closer together. I focus on meeting my clients where they are and don’t shy away from bringing “soul” to my therapeutic sessions.

Therapy with me is authentic, creative, and effective. I want you to reach the best version of yourself, without compromising who you are as an individual.

My specialties include:

The Human

I am married to an amazing nurse and an even more phenomenal human being. I love tinkering, learning new things, boxing, and reading. I started All Us We Counseling after realizing that there weren’t enough therapists who looked like me or understood my upbringing. I strive to make all sessions less clinical and more therapeutic. This is often translated into a real soulful conversation that yields positive results with clients.

Brian Jackson and the late great Gil Scott-Heron, thank you for such an amazing song in “alluswe”. It has inspired a city and it is now a movement.

Thank you to the Paterson Eastside High School football program for its mentorship and guidance. It has literally saved my life. I am forever my brother’s keeper… God, Family, Community, School.
