Being a Black Man in America is lit…
but it’s beyond dangerous.

Show up. Get support. Watch your life change.

Black Man Misunderstood

As a Black man, facing anxiety and fear in public spaces is often overwhelming. At AUW Counseling, we understand. “Being a Black man in America is lit, but it’s also dangerous.”

Our founder, a Black man himself, experienced struggles and stigmatization both growing up and in his professional career. This inspired him to seek change and offer authentic support to others. Today, he shares his real experiences, honest communication, and commitment to helping fellow Black men navigate their challenges.

We live what we preach. Our therapists know the pain, anger, sadness, and paranoia that come with being Black in America. Don’t let the thought that “no one understands” stop you from getting the support you deserve.

We’re here to help, because at the end of the day…. Black Man, you’re just misunderstood. But that all ends today!
